Our transfer service: 8-seat vans, skis and child seats

An 8-seat van transfer from Moutiers means one vehicle for the whole family or group, with room for all your ski kit. Our Mercedes vans carry up to 8 passengers, and child seats and boosters are provided on request. The driver tracks your train, speaks English and French, and you pay them directly, with no deposit.

The 8-seat van transfer: a vehicle just for you

Every transfer we run is in a Mercedes van seating up to 8. It is always private: the van carries your party alone, from the station to your accommodation, with no stops for other travellers and no waiting for the vehicle to fill up.

The price is set for the vehicle, not per seat. A group of eight friends heading to Val Thorens pays €180 for the whole van, while a couple pays the base price of €130. In between, each passenger beyond the third adds €10. Every destination and its price is listed on our prices page.

The van also gives you headroom and easy access, welcome after several hours on a train with tired children.

Skis, snowboards, suitcases and pushchairs

A ski holiday takes up space: skis, poles, snowboards, boots, large suitcases and sometimes a pushchair. The van is designed for exactly that, and everything rides with you in the same vehicle as the passengers.

So the driver can plan the loading, tell us when booking how many pairs of skis or snowboards and large suitcases you have, especially if you are 7 or 8. A group heading up to Courchevel 1850 for a week with oversized cases then gets no surprises on the platform.

How to travel by train with skis, which bags to use and what fits in the boot: our guide to skis and luggage, from train to transfer goes into detail.

Child seats and boosters on request

Families do not need to drag their own car seat onto the train. Just ask and we bring child seats and boosters: when booking, give the number of children and the age of each, and the driver fits the right equipment before you arrive.

This matters most for resorts where you stay far from the station and the road climbs for a long time. It applies to shorter runs too, such as Valmorel, a pedestrian village where the van leaves you at the access point nearest your accommodation: children stay strapped in until the very end of the journey.

Do mention pushchairs too: they have their place in the boot, next to the suitcases.

A bilingual driver who tracks your train

Your driver speaks English and French. For visitors from abroad, everything is straightforward, from booking to drop-off: accommodation address, number of bags, time of the train home.

Your train number lets us see in real time when it actually pulls in. If the train is late, the driver adjusts accordingly and you do not need to warn anyone. They wait for you at the station with a sign bearing your name, so you never have to search for your vehicle in the Saturday crowds.

Our taxi is present outside the station throughout the winter; for the details of the welcome and of Saturday arrivals, see our Moutiers station page.

Fixed price, no deposit, pay the driver directly

The price appears before you book and does not change afterwards. You receive a confirmation by email without paying any deposit. You then pay the driver directly the amount you were quoted.

Some destinations have more than one price depending on the area. In Méribel, for instance, the fare differs between Méribel Village, the centre and the Altiport, so give us the exact address of your accommodation and the right price will apply.

A return transfer can be booked in a single step, each journey being paid to its own driver. On winter Saturdays and Sundays, the price includes a winter weekend surcharge, shown by the calculator. Other practical points, from booking to the journey home, are covered in our FAQ.
