Pick-up at Moutiers station for Les Menuires
The drive from Moutiers to Les Menuires
When you step out of Moutiers station, your driver is waiting with a sign showing your name. Les Menuires draws plenty of families, and the platform is often where things get complicated: a pushchair, ski bags, children tired from the journey.
Your driver, who speaks English and French, takes care of the loading while you settle the little ones. Child seats and boosters requested at booking are ready in the van; just tell us each child's age or weight so we bring the right model. The fixed price agreed online is the one you pay, directly to the driver.
Is your train delayed?
The train number you give when booking lets us follow its real arrival time at Moutiers, so the driver taking you up to Les Menuires times the pick-up to when you actually arrive, not to the timetable.
Les Menuires sits between Saint-Martin-de-Belleville and Val Thorens, on the road that leaves Moutiers and climbs the Belleville valley. After Saint-Martin, the road keeps rising to the resort: about 27 km, or 35 to 45 minutes in normal conditions.
The climb has its share of bends. If your children get car sick, bring something to keep them busy and let the driver know before setting off. On winter Saturdays the whole valley runs to the rhythm of arriving and departing holidaymakers; traffic builds in both directions and the drive up to Les Menuires can take noticeably longer than midweek.

Drop-off in Les Menuires: it depends on your area
Les Menuires is not one village but a resort spread over several areas around 1,850 m: La Croisette, Reberty, Les Bruyères and more. Each has its own residences and access roads, and two places with similar names can sit in different parts of the resort. Simply saying “Les Menuires” is not enough for an accurate drop-off.
When you book, give the name of your residence or chalet, its address and, if you know it, the area. The driver then takes you as close as possible to the entrance or reception of your building.
With children, that detail matters: unloading skis, a pushchair and suitcases at the right door saves a walk through the snow with all your gear. The Mercedes van carries the family and the kit together, so everything comes out in one go.

Les Menuires to Moutiers station transfer
Coach or private transfer to Les Menuires?
On departure day, the driver collects you outside your residence in Les Menuires, or wherever you have arranged. When booking, give the time you want to leave the resort; if it leaves too little margin before your train, we can suggest setting off earlier.
Allow about 35 to 45 minutes for the drive down, more on a winter Saturday, plus time to hand back the keys and pack the children's bags. Booking the return together with the outbound transfer means everything is arranged from the start.
Coaches serve Les Menuires from Moutiers station during the winter season. For a solo traveller with light luggage, that is the cheapest choice, as long as the timetable suits you and you do not mind walking from the stop to your residence. For a family the sums change: five people pay €120, or €24 each, and eight pay €150, just €18.75 per head, with child seats, skis in the back and a drop-off in the right area.

Should we tell you which area of Les Menuires we are staying in?
It helps. The resort is spread over several areas, such as La Croisette, Reberty and Les Bruyères. The residence name and address are often enough, but knowing the area lets the driver head straight to the right entrance.
How much is the Les Menuires transfer for a family of five?

Can you take a pushchair and skis at the same time?
Yes. Pushchairs, skis, snowboards and suitcases all travel together in the van. For a large, well-equipped group, list your gear when booking so everything can be packed in properly at the station.
