Pick your Belleville valley resort
One road serves all three resorts, from the village of Saint-Martin up to Val Thorens: choose your destination to see the full transfer details.
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville
The first stop in the valley, about 15 km from the station. This village of chalets at 1,450 m, linked by ski to Méribel, suits a quiet stay. The driver drops you at your door, even in an outlying hamlet. Moutiers to Saint-Martin-de-Belleville transfer: €80 for 1 to 3 people.
Les Menuires
At 1,850 m, Les Menuires spreads across several areas, from La Croisette to Reberty. You are dropped outside your residence, so it pays to give its exact name. Child seats on request and an 8-seat van make it an easy choice for families. Our Les Menuires transfer: €100, about 35 to 45 minutes.
Val Thorens
At the end of the road, at 2,300 m, Val Thorens is the highest ski resort in Europe. Its largely pedestrianised centre means the drop-off point needs some thought, so give the exact address of your accommodation. The climb takes about 45 minutes to an hour. The Val Thorens transfer costs €130 for up to 3 people.
Which Belleville valley resort should you choose?
All three resorts belong to the 3 Valleys and are connected by the pistes, yet they feel quite different. From village to highest resort, here is how they compare and what that means for your journey from the station.
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville (1,450 m): a quiet village of chalets, the closest to Moutiers; for anyone after a village atmosphere and a chalet away from the crowds.
Les Menuires (1,850 m): a resort spread across several areas, practical for families, between the village and the peaks.
Val Thorens (2,300 m): the highest ski resort in Europe, at the end of the road, for high-altitude snow and accommodation close to the slopes.
The higher you go, the longer the drive and the higher the fare: from €80 to €130 for 1 to 3 people. Skiing and atmosphere usually decide the choice, but the transfer budget counts too, especially for a group booking a return trip.

Moutiers to Belleville valley transfer prices
In the Belleville valley, the fare rises with the altitude: each price covers the vehicle for up to 3 people, then €10 is added per extra passenger, with a maximum of 8. A winter weekend surcharge applies from early December to early May, for all three resorts.

Pick-up at Moutiers station for the valley
Whichever Belleville resort you are heading to, the welcome at Moutiers station works the same way: your driver waits with a sign bearing your name, speaks English and French, and loads skis, suitcases and pushchairs into the van.
For Saint-Martin, Les Menuires or Val Thorens, you set off as soon as everyone is settled, with child seats or boosters fitted if you asked for them when booking. The price of your Belleville transfer is fixed before you book and does not change afterwards; you pay the driver directly, with no deposit.
One road for all three Belleville resorts
The Belleville valley has one simple feature: a single road climbs it from Moutiers and serves the three resorts one after the other. First comes Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, about 15 km from the station, then Les Menuires at around 27 km, before you reach Val Thorens at the end of the road, about 38 km away.
Journey times follow the same pattern: roughly 25 to 30 minutes, then 35 to 45 minutes, then 45 minutes to an hour. That single road matters on winter Saturdays: every holidaymaker in the valley travels up and down it, and the drive can take considerably longer, even to the nearest village.

The train number you give at booking lets us follow its actual arrival time: whether you are going to Saint-Martin, Les Menuires or Val Thorens, the driver works to the real time.

Back from the Belleville valley to Moutiers station
For the trip back to the station, your departure time depends on the resort: in normal conditions, allow up to about 30 minutes from Saint-Martin, 45 minutes from Les Menuires and an hour from Val Thorens.
When booking, tell us the time you would like to leave; if it looks too tight for your train, we can suggest another time. On winter Saturdays the whole valley heads down at once, so the higher you start, the bigger the margin you need. Booked together, the outbound and return transfers are arranged from the start.
Coach or private transfer in the Belleville valley?
In winter, coaches link Moutiers station with the Belleville valley. For a solo traveller with light luggage and no fixed schedule, they cost less than a private transfer. The gap closes quickly for groups: with eight in the van, it works out at €16.25 each for Saint-Martin, €18.75 for Les Menuires and €22.50 for Val Thorens. A transfer leaves when your train arrives and drops you near your accommodation, not at a fixed stop.
Frequently asked questions
Which Belleville resort is cheapest from Moutiers station?
Saint-Martin-de-Belleville, at €80 for 1 to 3 people, because it is the closest, about 15 km away. Les Menuires costs €100 and Val Thorens €130, as the road keeps climbing beyond the village.
Are the three valley resorts linked by ski?
Yes. Saint-Martin, Les Menuires and Val Thorens are all part of the 3 Valleys and connected by pistes and lifts. Choosing between them is mainly a question of altitude, atmosphere and the kind of accommodation you are looking for.
How long is the drive up the valley on a winter Saturday?
There is no reliable figure: it depends on the time of day and how busy the road is. On Saturdays, when holidays change over, the whole valley uses the same road and the trip can take much longer. Midweek, allow about 25 minutes to an hour depending on the resort.
Does the price depend on the number of passengers?
The base fare covers the van for up to 3 people, then each extra passenger adds €10. With eight on board, the maximum, Saint-Martin costs €130, Les Menuires €150 and Val Thorens €180. Winter weekends carry a surcharge.
