At the station: heading for Courchevel Village
The drive from Moutiers to Courchevel 1550
Your driver stands at the station exit with a sign showing your name. Because the village has been renamed, your accommodation booking may say 1550 or it may say Village: to us, it is the same destination at the same price. Please give us the address of your apartment or chalet, as the village is mainly residential and an exact address saves time looking for it on arrival. Add your train number too; all your luggage, skis included, goes straight into the boot of the van. There is no deposit: you pay the driver directly once you arrive.
Courchevel Village is about 21 km from the station. After the Bozel valley, the road winds up towards Courchevel; the village sits at 1,550 m, below 1850. The journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes, slightly less than to 1850, which means climbing further. In winter, a snowy road surface can slow things down over the last few kilometres. Winter Saturdays see most of the week's arrivals and departures, and traffic across the Tarentaise can then add a lot of time, so choose a train that leaves you some leeway.
Late train into Moutiers?
Your train number lets us track the real arrival time. The driver reaches the station when you do, even if the schedule has changed along the way.
Courchevel 1550 or Courchevel Village: your arrival
Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel Village are one and the same place: the altitude served as its name for years before the village took its current one. It is a quiet, residential village, made up mostly of apartments and chalets, away from the bustle of 1850. A gondola links it to 1850, so you ski the same area and reach the top of the resort without getting back in a car. For your transfer, it is also cheaper than 1850: €75 instead of €90 for 1 to 3 people, which is €15 less each way. On arrival, your driver pulls up outside your accommodation, as close as the road allows, and unloads skis and cases with you. If your keys have to be collected from an agency in the village, let us know when you book.

Courchevel Village → Moutiers station transfer
On departure day, your driver picks you up outside your accommodation in Courchevel Village. Allow about 40 minutes to the station, plus loading time and a few minutes to find your platform. If you are handing back keys on the way out, build that into your timing as well. On winter Saturdays, leave earlier: the road down to Moutiers can be very slow at the busiest times. Booked at the same time as your arrival, the return transfer is paid to the driver who does it, just like the outward trip.
